To think it could have been 5-3 instead of 7-2. One BS call and the whole night changes. Then again the Tangauy penalty was BS too that led to the first goal.

Weak reffing this game. But I am not saying we lost because of reffing, just bad officiating + Flames blowing up.

Milbury: Tough call on Iginla. That was not goaltender interference.

Weekes: no doubt about it. that was 100% unequivocally goaltender interference. That was the right call.

That should have been a tripping call, let alone a called off goal.

Honestly, two bad calls by the refs really played a role tonight.

1) Tanguay hooking call - without it, the Flames go into the 2nd 2-0.
2) Iginla goal waved off - should have been a 5-3 game.

Would we be winning right now? Probably not, but those calls made a difference.

Flames are dealing with the chips they've been dealt-aka the players Darryl signed in the offseason. He built this team to be a mediocre .500 hockey team and thats what we're getting.

With this GM we have had 5 first round exits and missed the playoffs last year, the team is regressing under is tenure. He put the team together, if they are standing around on the PP, he should have found new players that would actually do something. All he does is recycle old players which clearly can't keep up with the talented teams in this league. Didn't Sutter pretty much bring in the whole team, other than a few players that were already here.
