Default OMG! Fisher and Underwood drama!! WTF happened to the Herald?
They are posting articles referenced to the National Enquirer? hahahaha This approaches and maybe surpasses Sun levels.

The National Enquirer says recently wed country singer Carrie Underwood and Ottawa Senators forward Mike Fisher are at war after Underwood changed her mind about moving to Ottawa.The hot-selling gossip tabloid says Fisher was discussing plans for the nursery in the 5,000-square-foot home he's building in West Carleton when Underwood "told him it was pointless to build space for a baby because she has no intention of living there."

When Edmonton tables a trade offer for Fisher, Underwood will be in that home like a flash of lightning and not a complaint will ever be heard.

I don't know the fear of going to Ottawa might be the one thing that convinces a player's wife to go to Edmonton.

Enquirer broke the John Edwards scandal and won a Pulitzer for it. They also apparently broke Tiger Woods a year or so ago and buried the story in exchange for a cover piece on one of their sister publications. Sure there's a lot of junk in there but I think TMZ has shown them you can be trashy, mainstream and legit and still make a fortune.

I lived in Ottawa for almost eight years and I've got very little bad to say about it.

I think in general athlete-actress marriages do well.

As for hockey off the top of my head.

Ron Duguay married Kim Alexis, they've been together probably 20 years.
Valeri Bure married to Candace Cameron for a long time.
Mike Modano is married to Wila Ford
Hagman is married to Miss Finland I think

Only real bad one I can think of is Sheldon Souray getting divorced.
