The Oilers pay the Jackets big time giving them Brendan Mikkelson for Ethan Moreau and 3.5 in cash. Probably too much, but Moreau has been an effective player for the Jackets this year and my lower lines have not got it done all year. It's a reach in hopes that I can get him to play with Filippula and Upshall to make for a better third line.

While it is hard to give up Jokinen due to his breakout NHL year... this move gives the Capitals 3 guys with over 90pts in the SIM.

If I am to face the Canadiens in the first round, I better have some firepower. Mayers was sent to equalize the money.

I traded J. Jokinen earlier in the year and regretted it. He'll be good for you next year with decent ratings at a cheap price.

If Gaborik goes I want it to be for a younger player with star potential or a guy who is already showing great things.
