Lord help me but there is something about this freaky looking thing I like. I am in the market for a new SUV/Crossover as the family has expanded. I have looked at the RDX(large amount of standard features but Fugly), X3(not many features but decent looking), Q5(city is sold out for at least a month) Volvo XC60(just didn't dig it). I've test driven both the 4Runner and the Grand Cherokee and didn't really like either.
Test drove it yesterday and was very impressed. It doesn't have the cargo space of the others but it is really nice to drive and by far gets the best mileage of the bunch. It has a 3.5l and when loaded with options it still comes in about the same price as the imports I mentioned above.
The point of this thread? Please, talk me out of buying this ugly thing!
If the supporting characters on "Chuck" like it for a cross-country tour, then I like it.

I actually haven't seen one in person but to me it looks like a squished Toyota Venza in the photos. Not a terrible thing, just not something I like. I do however, appreciate the innovation of this vehicle!
It you are looking for something with some room but also drives well, you may want to consider a Audi A3.
It's ugly for sure, but less so in person. And look at this way, youre going to be inside it most of the time, so you're not the one who has to look at it!

can't help you with the ugly HOnda, but I"ve shortlisted the same group of cars, I don't mind the RDX a bit generic but seems good bang for buck. still considering the volvo
I was waiting 15 years for honda to bring back the accord wagon to Canada. I even sent them emails for the past 7 years asking them when it'll be back.
Well they brought it back but can this thing look any nastier? I can't buy it.
I know in europe the accord wagon is the acura tsx wagon. They thing looks super awesome. I don't think they will be bringing that here though.

You just answered your own question. The Crosstour doesn't haul for shiz. You're going through this big decision to buy a roomier car for family purposes and you would be utterly failing if you bought this overprice CrossTour.
Look at a Venza or Subaru Outback if you want a roomier crossover, with little sacrifice performance wise.
