over 20 give aways, sloppy defense, and 'me 1st' mentality ensures yet another miserable result.

So this is what happens when Kipper doesnt stand on his head.

Bouwmeester has been awful over the last stretch.

The second line was a combined -10 and the Bouwmeester-Gio pairing a -5.

Jokinen is a terrible hockey player and this team still suffers from the same issues that have plagued it since the lockout. the more things change, the more they stay the same

Why are we so terrible with our transition game? Why? I just don't understand it.

Exactly. They could have easily won tonight had Kipper made some of his far too often seen amazing saves but as a team you can't rely on having those saves every night.

Is FoxMulder91 the same guy who always tries to start flames circle jerks on HFboards that always backfire?

So how about that? Iggy puts the team on his back (well, tries to), and no one really follows suit. Tons of offensive chances in the third period, with nothing doing.

Nashville probably had 6 scoring chances and scored on 4 of them. Most of the defense had a pretty bad game, Bouwmeester and Giordano the main culprits.

I hate to pile on but the hell is up with that sad sack Jokinen? Awful game from him. How many giveaways did he have?

And then the missed chance. Standing there like a freaking pylon watching the captain break his freaking back to get him the puck and he acts surprised and flubs. WAKE UP

Whats wrong with Bouwmeester? seriously he has been absolute garbage lately. How do you go from +13 to +7 in a week?

All i want for xmas is:
- a first line player to play on the first line (other than iggy).
- Bouwmeester, you were apparently under the radar for what you could do in Florida. The first half of this season, and I gotta say, ya he's good defensively, but what exactly does he bring to this team?

This is the same choking team we've seen the past several years. Look great for flashes, and then try to coast into the playoffs.

The deeper we get into the season, the more we see this team take form, the more questionable the core of this team truly is.

you're right, he's been an effective contributor, and worth every penny of his salary.

this team is lazy, complacent, and if they weren't wearing the flaming C i would hate them. but they're my team, for better or worse, and i still love them. but i dont like them. if that makes sense.

By being on the ice for 6 more goals against that goals scored?

He hasn't been that bad, just not as good as he can be. Gio has been playing REALLY really well though.

It's depressing to watch, but I'm sure they'll turn in around next game.
