Very exciting news.
Our next show will be Thursday @ 8 pm when for the first time on Calgarypuck Radio - we will have an interview with a player from the Flames.
Freddie Sjostrom was kind enough to find time for us, so we will be playing the conversation I had with him.
He'll talk about coming to Calgary, how he's had to change his game to stick in the NHL, and where this team is at right now.
I hope you can listen.

Freddie Sjorstrom is quickly becoming a fan favourite, especially around this board.
Great job Sutter, and glad to have you on board Freddie.

Woo, Sjostrom seems like quite the internet savvy guy. I still check out his blog every now and again. He hasn't been overly noticeable this season so far, for either good or bad. He's one of the only players that I can say hasn't really made any major mistakes that I've been able to notice. Hopefully he keeps up that side of his game while chippping in a few more goals. Go Freddie! If you're reading this, you rock.
I'm away next week, but looking forward to hearing! Sjostrom was a very savvy signing.

The lack of responses to this is flabbergasting. I'm curious if any Flames players know and / or check out CP to see our ridiculous up and downs as posters during the season. Awesome on Sjostrom for doing this, well played sir.

Good news. Sjostrom is one of the only guys that by my account hasn't made any bonehead decisions or had nights where you just wish someone would take him off the ice. Nice to have him on board.

Very cool of Freddie. I really like the speed he brings to the team. Looking forward to hearing the interview.
