Default Rivals swap players

The Habs and Leafs hooked up for a trade today, albeit a rather minor one.

To Leafs

Tomas Kopecky (57)
Michael Sauer

To Canadiens

Kevin Klein (59)
$1mm

The Leafs wanted a forward for a d-man, and while we already have 7 d-men, this move helps us because we can now bring up Claude Giroux to replace Kopecky on the 4th line. We also get Klein who will likely be Top 4 on Nashville, paired with Hamhuis.

Kopecky is a 4th liner who could put up some points with Chicago this year so this is a pretty even trade in my mind. Thanks Rob for the deal.

Too many D, not enough forwards. We're happy, even though we had to deal with teh Habs (spit!).
