I voted Bouma because I recently just got a game used stick of his. Other than that I know almost nothing about these guys.

It is intersting that all the college guys have fallen so far. Is it because they aren't as good as the others or is it mainly because so few have a chance to watch/hear from them.
from Sutter's last FAN interview, Marvin and Severyn have shots at becoming pros, Baldwin already is, and Grantham will be this fall. They may never make the NHL, but the point of the draft is to select pro prospects, than let Jim Playfair and the gang mold them. Pretty good in the 15 spot to still have options
I knew nothing about these guys so I picked nick larson because I had a friend growing up name trevor larson and he was a good guy so nick must be a good guy as well
i like grantham, even if all he ends up as is a big bodied fighter who can take a shift, thats an NHL career. Bouma looks a good prospect, a glencross style guy, but he does need to keep trending up to make the grade.
Between Bouma and Marvin. Went with Bouma. Few times I've seen the kid play he has impressed. Always gives 100% and I really feel he can be a bottom 6 player in the NHL.
With the thread about HF's rating of our prospects, it got me thinking about this poll.
Thought I'd bump it for kicks.
Quite a few changes, which of course would be expected I guess.
- Backlund with 81% of first place votes seems to be progressing nicely.
- However the rest of the top 5 has had problems in the last year and a half (with the exception of Nemisz I suppose).
- Pelech and Negrin can't seem to get on track having suffered so many tough injuries.
- Irving had a tough year last season, but will hopefully bounce back.
- Aulie, Greentree and Vander Gulik are all out of the organization now.
- Chucko has continued to stall out for various reasons, which is unfortunate.
- Sutter, after being slotted in at 14th is actually with the big club right now albeit because of inuries....
- Brodie and Wahl would most certainly be top 5 if we did this again now, with Brodie likely being #1 after his great camp and small stint with the Flames to begin the year.
- Players like Howse, Erixon, Seabrook, Cameron etc have all been drafted/acquired in the last year and a half and it would be interesting to see where the CP faithful would slot them.
Anyways, thought it would be interesting to take a look back, as prospect pools seem to shift and change rapidly.
