Its nice to get the win but come on already. Poti just comes back from a 5 game suspension and gets hurt. Now Ferance is suspended for 5 games. Ive had absolutely no luck this season with injuries. There always seems to be a couple key players out.
Keep my fingers crossed now and hope for the Kings/Preds/Oilers to lose.
Location: I ain't playing nose tackle in a 3-4 defence

Important win today as we try to hold off the charging pack. Pretty key injury as Steven Weiss is pretty much knocked out for the rest of the season. Christian Ehrhoff with 2 goals, Louongo with 22 saves and 2 assists from Vermette, and Sharp helped the team win today. We survived the first lag of our final 7 games with wins over San Jose and Toronto and an OT loss to Chicago. So hopefully we can continue to play well in our final 4 games in which we're going to have to win 3 of those to make the playoffs.

Bryzgalov kept the game close but our 1st line's inability to score did not help the situation. Heck, we only had 19 shots on net...tough to win when that happens.
Sharks finally get back into the Win column after a pretty dismal last few games. Even still, we barely won after outplaying the Avs for most of the game. Pronger with 2 assists and a +3 when there was only 5 goals scored in the game earns first star. He, Crosby and Briere are our only saving graces of late.
Next up is the Flyers. We are going to put the boots to them tho...oh yes, we will!
Well the Predators continue to slide. We are now tied for 7th/8th in the west with a game in hand. Not exactly how we were hoping to finish the season, but hopefully we can still string together a few W's and make the big show.
Second loss in a row for the Leafs. This was a big win for the Oilers. We didn't need points as badly, but it's still not good to lose 2 in a row after a long layoff. We were on a roll before having 4 or 5 days off and we definitely cooled off over that break. The Oilers outshot us in this one and Luongo was better than Harding, as expected.
