ya when I was down there 2 weeks ago (?) it was pretty barren
almost all the hockey equipment was gone, maybe 3 right handed composite sticks, and they were all juniors, tons of leftys though
did manage to pick up 24 dunlop golf balls for $12...prolly should have picked up 48

Then again, it doesn't have an anchor store to get enough volume of people into the mall.
It has had a few stores through the years that were decent, but never enough at any one time to get a critical mass of places I would make a point to go to.
As it is, I would go to get some cheap stuff at Sport Check, but with it now gone I can't think of a reason to go there.

I always chuckle at the billboard on Highway 2 (when you're driving into Calgary from Airdrie) that advertises Deerfoot Mall as Calgary's Best Outlet Mall (or something like that)...
