A friend of mine said he skated with Gelinas at the Oval last Thursday, I guess he's been playing with the Dinos to stay in shape. Maybe Nashville still has plans to sign him? Had his Preds helmet on and was super friendy, I guess some of the guys didn't recognize him and asked what his name was, he just said "Hi, my name is Marty."
I should have stuck around, our regular ice time ended at 1PM and I went back to work instead hitting the ice again.
Gelinas lives in Calgary and yes he was working out with the U of C Dinos for some time now. He is recovering from his injuries that's why noone signs him yet.
That's really cool...I hope he ends up somewhere. I met him back when he first signed with us, and he was a really great guy. Super friendly, made everyone feel really comfortable.

If I recall correctly he was renting out his house in Scarborough to Hamrlik when he went to Florida. I am assuming he still has it...
I'd love to see Gelly take a job with the team when he retires. Maybe something to do with conditioning/training... I don't know really. He's just the type of guy you want around.

pfft.. its pretty obvious what my #1 thing about the 'dome is.. its the traffic and parking around the grounds. good thing they bought all those empty lots to leave them empty for the games!

He was intervied by The Sun I believe about a week ago ,and he is Good To Go ,he does have a business in Calgary and a Home here and has no plans in moving ...by staying in top form .I had the pleasure of meeting him ar Wallmart and at Staples,i asked him for his autograph and he was nice enough to mail me a picture that was signed ...Super nice guy

Well I guess you can blame me because they are closed. They submitted a plan for those parking lots and it was not approved. If they get them re-submitted and approved in the next few weeks they may get them paved and opened before the freeze-up.
