I tried to unlock my touch last night. Unfortunately quickpwn didnt recognize the 2.0.2 firmware I downloaded for the touch. I've installed the hacked firmware through itunes but it still didnt jailbreak it. I'm stuck in limbo now, do I let itunes try and update it in the future or do I find another firmware to jailbreak with. Naturally nothing every works easily the first time.

just thought of 1 more thing. Did you use a pre-hacked itouch firmware (with installer/cydia pre-added). quickpwn requires a clean unaltered 2.0.2 firmware
I used the firmware from link you provided. Where would I get the unaltered firmware, also what do I do now that this other firmware is installed?
technically your supposed to pay for the 2.0 upgrade on the touch, but i thought the one from that site was straight from apple. You could wait for quickpwn to be updated to support it, try winpwn or pwnage tool, or cut your losses and downgrade back to 1.1.4
Has anyone found any good subway map/transit apps out there? Seems like it's something that should be incorporated into Google maps....ie, showing you the nearest subway stations, giving transit directions/times.

I paid for the 2.0 firmware but I don't remember being able to download the file to my hard drive. It just patched itunes and away I went. I really don't want to go backwards considering ive dropped $150+ on applications from the appstore. *sigh*

i think there's stuff like that for NYC. I guess best bet for now is to use safari to go to the transit home page or save maps as photos/pdfs and recall them that way.
How is tuner? Is it a good app? Does it have a really good selection of stations?
It's good, but it doesn't support wma streams, which means there are many radio station streams it can't play even if you insert the url. There are no calgary stations for example.

Doesn't matter much to me where the stations are, as long as I like the music.
