Default Ovechkin scores 60th

Congrats, to easily the best goal scorer the NHL has seen in the past decade.

He just keeps getting better too.

Technically, I think Iginla has been the best goal scorer in the NHL for the past decade.

Is that even really worth pointing out? Obviously I wasn't inferring that Ovechkin has been around the league for 10 years, I meant he's the best pure goal scorer we've seen in that time. Was what I said misleading?

And if you really need to get technical, Jagr has more than Iginla since 1997/1998. And not one of those seasons did Jagr crack 60.

I think Ovechkin will score 50 in 50.

The link is a tribute to Ovechkin's 60 goals. If it doesnt work, just look for it on the washington capitals website, or on nhl.com.

I think we are witnessing prolific exploits not seen for some time. He could get close to 70, like someone pointed out.

Also, like another posted, he may have the best chance of chasing 50 in 50.
Who was the last to do it? Hull?

I'm just happy we play him twice a year, and I think I can count kipper in as well. Imagine being a thrasher's fan(I know it's tough) who has to witness Ovechkin burninating the their country side eight times a year. But he was still, ALEX-AN-DER!!! Pardon the 'trogdor' reference, if you don't know what that is.

He is the best goalscorer this decade, so far(tavares may make some noise, I hear he's alright).

Alex is fun to watch. We get jipped out West.

Come on, get 70 out of the way so you can work on 80 next year.

Isn't it ironic that a Russian may save hockey!

Easy fanboy. I'm not taking anything away from Ovechkin.

fanboy? Okay..

I just responded to your comment that was not only incorrect, but seemed out of place. I am aware of how long Ovechkin has been around, your response seemed to doubt that.
