Forget Master Chief - Marcus is back! Can't wait... I don't online game so I loved GOW. Played the damn thing though almost 3 times... something I almost NEVER do.

Agreed, since Gears came out I never once played Halo3 again. Much superior gameplay IMO, also having a friend being able to join your single player mission via COOP over live is amazing, all games should require that.

I didn't care too much for gears of war, but I far preferred it over halo 3. I'm interested to see what they do to further the series.

I like the ad for the last game quite a bit more, but it's still cool. Now that I don't have access to a 360 I'll have to get creative if I want to find a way to try this one.

I can't wait. I will be coming home from Europe on Wednesday, an have NHL 09, Fable 2, Far Cry 2, and Fallout 3 ALL waiting for me (I ordered online), but I am still going to the Midnight launch (I am a dork, sorry!) on Thursday to get the game, and then chainsaw everything for about 6 hours when I get home.

Gears 2 will rock..

Hey, if anyone else is going to a midnight launch (Bestbuy is having one), I am not saying we should necessary go together, although why not, represent CP! But why not get a CP game going online that night. Just saying. Maybe I am too dorky.

Oh well. My offer still stands, if anyone wants to play a little Gears of War 2, at around 1 am on Friday night (technically saturday, and 1 am because you need to wait in line, get the game, drive home, etc.) then let me know. If I am the only one fruity enough to go to midnight releases, then so be it!

Game looks amazing but I still hate 3rd person noob shooters like this.. You shouldnt be able to crouch behind a wall and see the entire area infront of you.

I made a mistake, it is thur-fri midnight. Sorry. Also, I just found out that Futureshop is giving away cog tags, and a "action figure" of a locust with his head exploding, for free with purchase of the game. So I am heading there instead of bestbuy. Anyone in the NW want to join me?

No problem at all, walls were stacked (EB in Deerfoot Meadows)
