Alfie with a shortie too, and not currently lined up for the Game winner. I have a feeling he's not done yet.

Holy crap, spezza scored 8-4, might have been with a high stick, doubtful. If Alfredsson tipped it, which it looks like, 7 points puts him in the scoring lead, not bad considering he was in 7th place about 2 hrs ago....
Yup, going to video review.
edit: goal counts, no point for #11

Apparently I'm the Oilers good luck charm. I turn on the TV and they score 2 goals with Garon pulled. Tie game now.

Seriously, this getting on my nerves.
Can the oilers NOT win a game by NOT going in the shootout? Everytime I see them get the W it's the shooutout.
If there wasn't a shootout, they would lead the leagues in ties. And there record would look even worst!

Habs with a huge 4-3 comeback victory against the Devils. Brodeur owns the Habs usually, so this was very sweet. Huet didn't have his best game with 3 goals on 15 shots, but the Canadiens did not give up and gave my son a very pleasant 2nd birthday present with the win.

Absolutely terrible reffing tonight, game should have been won in regulation by the Oilers. A terrible goalie interference call on a Pitkanen goal that was waved off. They call that off but let a goal like Minnesota on Calgary stand. Penner barely touched the guy at all (touched his jersey and he flopped). Then that Pisani goal was in and they say called it a no goal. Penner one was debatable at best but they league f'd up on the Pisani one.

That's weird. I could swear their last 4-5 wins were not in a shootout.

Good, no 3 point game in Colorado. Minnesota takes it 3-2.
Well, we're one point back again, but I'll take it.
Columbus and Phoenix breathing down the backs of the Nucks right now.

Wild hang on to beat the Avs 3-2 and are now 1st in the NW division. Colorado had a couple good chances to tie it up but couldn't.
