Well, that's the latest. Remains to be seen if the deal goes through (been down that road before).

With attempt by individual Russian clubs to extort additional money for progeny all but a lost effort, looks like transfer fees may be the same across the board.

Interesting, measures in place will prevent players bolting back home unilaterally.

Of course, all this remains to be seen.

Yeah, I won't believe it till it's carved in stone. Even then I still wouldn't trust Russians to honor it.

What is does seem to say is if, say Taratukhin decides he's had enough of the New World, the Flames won't stand empty-handed.
