Do you research the movies on the web after looking for clues in the scenes that could help you figure it out? Or do you just go from what you know and reply with movies you recognize?
Myself, I only reply with what I recognize by the looking at the screen caps for a couple minutes. There's been times I've been tempted to look up a movie based on clues, or search for a title when I know I've seen the movie, but I want to see how many I can name off the top of my head, like if it was a gameshow or something.

What about you all?
I'm with you. I just look at it and if I get it I get it and if I don't, I move on. Hence my few rounds with 1 or 2 right answers.

I've checked imdb a coupe of times to get the right title... I have maybe 2 or 3 times have taken a clue from the movie and looked it up. The one that stands out is Arlington Road. One of the clues HD provided was a tombstone. I searched the last name on imdb, and looked through like 3 pages before I got to something that could be considered close. I've never seen the movie, but that helped on that one.
If I'm like 2 away from a perfect round, I'll research. If I'm in the position I'm in for this round, like 4/10, I don't put too much effort into the others.

Just based on memory, and I do get some help from people at work. Having said that, a bunch of them really suck at the game and can barely get the gimmes.

I'll use IMDB if I know that I have seen the movie and can remember a couple of the actors. Then I'll use it to come up with the title. I haven't tried googling clues to track down any movies.
I just try to get anything that I have seen, and I'll guess if it looks obvious (I've never seen Mars Attacks or The Neverending Story, but I still recognized them).
I only get annoyed when I have seen the movie and still don't get it (which happend a movie or two every few rounds)

And you're in the top 3, grats on that!
I've had a few rough rounds too. I also only had 4 for this one. I missed the first 5 rounds too and started up in round 6, otherwise I might be creeping up on you.

There have been 19 perfect 10 of 10 scores.
Prottotype - 4

I've looked up movies to make sure I had the title right but not because I saw something in the picture that I thought I could look up and get the answer for it.
There have been at least 6 movies that I haven't seen but was able to guess because of clues in the pictures. I can't remember them all but The Hurricane and Mars Attack were two of them.
I am with bobble, I only look up when I know I know it and use imdb to find it, like with 243 this round I remembered the plot but couldnt remember the name of it.
I think I started round 5, and I missed 2 rounds cuz of work and stuff. I am a nurse so I dont have time to look at them tillafter my shift most days other wise I would be on to you moon
