Anyone know why the tower was a blaze yesterday?

Man were getting loosey-goosey with lighting that thing up. Beating Edmonton 4-2 is reason to ignite the tower all day??????

Cant believe that was a year ago already.

Buddy of mine was in Mayerthorpe that day on work, and couldnt believe how much of a madhouse the town became. So much so that the only inn in town wouldnt give him a room until he said he wasn't with the media.
