According to QR77 they are saying on the fifth quarter call in show that Micheal Feterik announced at half time of the BC game that there will be a signifigant deal announced on Sunday. Anyone care to speculate what this signifigant deal might be.

I guess I just find it weird that's all. Primarily because of the timing. If the deal's done and he wants to announce it fine, but wait until Sunday to do it. An owner announcing a deal two days before its going to actually happen seems a little odd.
Am I the only one who wants more defense? I think we can address the offense in the off season, we aren't going anywhere this year.
But I think if we can shore up the defense with a couple promising young players we could be almost unstoppable on that side of the ball.
Maybe Flemming for an upgrade at Corner? I think our pass rush is great, but our corners could be a little better, especially defending on short 8-10 yrd passes, that seemed to be where they were getting a lot of 1st downs.

Maybe hes got flemming inked to a long term deal? (unlikely). Or maybe we are signing Tim Couch :P

I guess it could be a trade with any of the 4 teams in action tonight, meaning those teams would want that player available for tonight, and of course not hurt.
Dunigan also said after the game that something is in the works and we should here about on Sunday.
The story in the Sun said that the deal is possibly with the Lions and not the Bombers. They didn't want Flemming to switch sides and put on a Lions uniform last night. Maybe it could be a 3-way deal that will send Dickenson to Winnipeg and then to Calgary
