Alright so I am looking to buy a digital camera that isn't too exspensive (~$200). Does anyone know where to look to get a good deal?

After you've decided which one you want you can scout the local flyers of London Drugs, Future Shop, Best Buy, A&B Sound, Staples, Japan Camera etc etc to find your best deal. Or even eBay if you don't mind used.

Nikon optics are excellent. User menus have radically improved for the lower end market. Check out a Nikon Coolpix 4200. It's in your price range and it's a good one.

Getting a good deal in Calgary...I'm not sure anymore as I don't live there, but find Nikon at one of the stores that Incinerator mentioned and do some comparisons....Good Luck!

If you're looking at Nikon, Canon etc, checkout the Camera Store (www.thecamerastore.com) - they seem to consistently have the best prices in Calgary
