I think a guy the Flames should target in off season is Jordan Tootoo. He has had a bit of a falling out in Nsh and has come out and said he is disappointed in not playing after doing everything he was asked to do.He is a little spark plug minus being a total head case like Sean Avery,I think he would be a great addition and probabaly would come at a resonable price! What do you guys all think????
Tootoo, who has been a healthy scratch in three of Nashville's playoff games so far, is frustrated with his lack of playing time in the best-of-seven series against the Detroit Red Wings.
The 29-year-old forward spoke with Josh Cooper of the Tennessean after practice on Thursday and voiced his displeasure. "When you get shut down and told you're not playing, it (expletive) burns," Tootoo said. "After doing everything right, it just (expletive). … I'm (ticked) off because I'm not able to do what I love to do and that's playing the game.
He is the a type of player we are in need of. Whether we bring him in to me would really depend on if we think Aliu will make the roster as a player who can take a regular shift. I like what we saw out of Aliu in the last few games of the season. If management think that is representive of his play then I would keep him over bringing in a guy like Tootoo. If management thinks aliu won't be a regular then bring a guy like tootoo or a player like him to play that pest role.
One of many who is too boring; thinks that there should be rules regarding grammar in custom user titles, and also makes moderators wonder if there is a charachter limit here. I mean come on- you would think that would be a limitation in the software

I'd be fine with Tootoo as well if he really does have the drinking problem under control.
The Flames need a player of his type to pull the rest of the team into games where they seem like they are being lulled to sleep.

I think Tootoo will be great player to bring in, he gets under other players skin and I think its the type of player we need. Look how much we hate Steve Ott, players that agitate other teams best players. I was thinking the same thing that Flames should consider getting him when I heard Tootoo wasn't happy about being benched. Plus his trade value should be relatively low right now.
He's turned his career around and the Flames do need a player like him, but I think someone is going to overpay him this off season. Is he really worth more than $1.5 million per season? 30 points look like it might be his ceiling points-wise
For those of you that say NO to Tootoo you obvisouly dont have a clue what it takes to win its guys like him that bring it every shift that win you games. The Flames have way to many passive players they need some guys that lay people out and bring some energy to the game!

Why not? I don't really have an opinion either way - just curious. If he is clean... is he a bad teammate or something? Seems like something we need...
Q: When the Nashville Predators win the Stanley Cup, what will you drink from it?
JTT: If I can get some seal blood or caribou blood I'll pound that and be good to go.
Get 'er done, Feaster!
