I agree. As a Canucks fan that was bloody embarrassing. He can be a real good player but he needs to drop the shennanigans. Sadly as he is 27 I don't see it happening. I wouldn't be devastated if he gets dealt in the off season. If Gillis can bring in another high end centre in return I am all for moving him out.

Kesler is a dirty POS poor sport gutless diving panty waste, the Canucks should make him captain it fits their style of play perfectly.

Wow seeing that spear to the nuts it's even worse then I thought. I knew it was bad seeing it on the one replay yesterday, but man that is just deliberate and nasty. Would love to see the NHL fine him for that crap. Just disgraceful.

Watch the head movement from Sedin, very refined dive that takes years of practice.

I watched nearly 80 percent of the Canucks games this season and I thought they did a half decent job of getting away from the antics of last year's playoffs. They weren't all that bad in the season, relatively speaking of course.

After last night?........ugh, same old story. Pretty ugly stuff there. They're not the only team that does it, but I don't think there;s much doubt they do it the most. Kesler should be embarassed today.

also how that creep braces himself for the fall just like a professional stuntman. These Twins are just bad for hockey can't wait for till they are out of the league its disgraceful and how they both jump up in the air when screening a goalie, Disgraceful.

Where's the joke? 2 games is about right. it was an ugly hockey play, pretty careless and unfortunate Clifford is hurt, but you can't give Bitz much more. I was thinking 3 at most when i saw the hit.

Bad for hockey ?? really ? Two of the cleanest and classiest players in the NHL and two of the best too. I will give you that Henrik embellishes but i don't see Daniel do it very often.

I accept the diving on occasion to draw a penalty is ok and a lot of players ( likely 90% ) do it the odd time. I know the Canucks do it too much and I f-ing hate it. i wish they tone it down a bit and for the life of me I can't figure out why Gillis and AV haven't nipped it in the bud.

That's your problem right there, you accept something that has no place in hockey.

NHL is suppose to be men playing a man's game. There is no need for diving and should just play hard. I'd also love to see the proof that 90% of players dive. I watch a ton of hockey around the league I rarely see and if it happens it isn't nearly as obvious as lastnights junk.

Someone said it best that when engaged the Kings continue to battle for the puck where the once a Canuck is engaged he is looking for the ref and dropping to his knees. It's pathetic and should not be accepted even 1% in a league like the NHL. If I wanted to watch soccer, I'd watch soccer.

I didn't watch the game, I don't plan on watching the Canucks, but my buddy (Leafs fan) who never really watches them watched last night and then told me today he totally understands why I complain about them all the time (and he singled out Kesler over the way they were playing too).

I've accepted it because it's been going on for years. Bill Barber was the best diver in the NHL back in the day. I didn't say I liked it but jumping up and down and turning purple with anger isn't going to do much good.

As I said it's my team but I wish they would knock off some of the bs.

You are preaching to the choir. I admit they embellish too much and i hate it. I wouldn't be crushed if Kesler was dealt in the off season and Lappy let go. Along with Burrows they are the worst offenders. It is what is.
