they had gotten blown out 2 straight games and then lost in OT, tightened up defensively and went on to win the series
I would say it did work
I fully expect a blowout tonight - Big Kingy Style

Lakers game going to OT on a pretty warm, sunny day. Staples Center ice will be horrible tonight.
I think this would favor the Kings.

Has there been a lot of Kings games this year after afternoon Basketball, and if so was the ice bad?
I have no clue and a quick google search didn't bring up anything
if it's the case and the ice is different I would think you are right
I really dont think so. Considering that the NBA was gone for half the season, and LA is routinely used behind even Vancouver as the last start of the night, its all late games.
The shape of the ice is one thing, as Im sure that LA has played it before though... but not quite as bad as it could be
Pretty sure flames and kings in a Saturday was after a clippers game, they showed a clip of how quickly they took it down and put in the NHL surface. The ice wasn't good.
Location: Hoping Timmy Thomas and The Hockey Gods stop a soccer team from winning The Stanley Cup.

If the ice is crappy, I'm sure that will produce a lot of dumpins.
I know Luongo is far from a wizard handling the puck, but I believe his skills outside of the net are much better than Schneiders. I've seen some bad puck handling from Schneider in Canuck games I've watched this year.
Can any Canucks fans confirm or deny this?

Oilers suck.

Schneider is one of the few goalies I've seen who is worse than Luongo at playing the puck.
Luongo's difficulty is that he's not a great skater and he's a right handed shot, so it's pretty awkward for him to get out there and shoot left handed. Schneider's better at the physical aspect, but he makes some terrible decisions with the puck sometimes. If he kept it simple like Luongo does he'd be OK.

Only reason that didn't work is because Schneider left the game injured.
Don't believe it - he had a case of luongoillitis, ginger head, mental weakness whatever you want to call it.

There has only been 4 times this year with the lockout. However, my comment was more to do with their style of game. I think a dump and chase game favors the Kings if the Canucks has issues with break out passes and setup plays.
