Start of a huge three game win streak. Flames win 4-2, close game capped with an empty net goal from our goal scoring hero... Matt Stajan (2 on the night).

I wonder if he can fire off another one of those lasers clocked at 41.1 MPH?
That was awesome.

I think they are going to take it to the 'Yotes tonight. And for the love of all that is holy hit Yandle every chance you get, that guy is the key to that team IMO
How can you just up and ditch your allegiance to the NHL team you grew up with? It makes no sense to me. You must have been one of those kids cheering for the Penguins in the 90s too....

9. Los Angeles - 70
10. Colorado - 70 11. Calgary - 69
12. Minnesota - 65
Worst-case scenario:
6. San Jose - 75
7. Chicago - 75
8. Colorado - 72
9. Dallas - 71
10. Los Angeles - 70 11. Calgary - 67
12. Minnesota - 67
Obviously the Worse-case scenario will occur tonight and really I'm fine with that. We need a minimum of 15-5 to end out the season just for a hope at 8th place, where will get demolished in the first round by either the Nucks or Detroit.
It's hard to cheer for losses, but really its the only way the Flames organization will learn that we need to stop dicking around and actually commit to some kind of rebuild. Tomorrow will be harder to cheer for a loss though as I want Irving to get the win.
At this point, more losses = better pick come draft day. More wins = worse pick + no playoffs (like I said, no way we got 15-5 minimum).

Guess he'll be back to cheering for Calgary or the Quebec Coyotes in a year or two from now.
I'm excited to see Moss back in action. From reading his twitter feed over the last few months, sounds like he's anxious to get in there a make a difference for the Flames. Let's hope he can do that.
That being said: 3 - 2 Flames. Moss with a goal and or assist.
...I'm being positive. Something CP needs lately.

Who says I grew up a Flames fan?
I was exclusively a Pavel Bure fan as a kid.. he was traded from Van. Stopped watching hockey until 2000 when I started watching the Flames because of Val Bure.. The Flames were going to move, mom lived in Phoenix and took me to a Coyotes/Avs playoff game and have been a fan since. Secondary to The Flames for a little while but i've watched every single Coyotes game since Shaw cable got Center Ice back in 2007.
Feels like i've posted this a trillion times now..

The Sharks would be my alternative team, financial stability, fun fanbase, and it's a place i'd love to travel to watch games to and my girlfriend is from the area.
