Metric performing at Heritage classic
Not sure if this was posted elsewhere, snooped around but couldn't find it.
But Paul Brandt is doing the national anthem, Tokyo Police Club performing at first intermission, and Metric is taking the second !
Should add to an already stellar game.

Metric is currently my favourite band. I am looking forward to seeing this (even thought they are likely Habs fans).

That whole "Fantasies" album is one of the only albums in recent years that I can actually say I like every single song on it. I think I heard it is the #1 selling independent album ever.

I don't like the Metric after listening to both songs but I'm sure it will please their few fans I suppose.

Hey, the Grey Cup had the Black Eyed Peas before the Super Bowl did....err, bad example.

Might as well go back to listen to music from the '70s.

I've never heard of them before = complete indifference.

BTO wasn't available today. The NHL also put out calls to Loverboy and Corey Hart, but no luck.

IIRC, CBC also used Metric's "Stadium Love" for the intro of the All-Star game.
