I see the series against SJ as the other 'what-if' instead of against Chicago. Especially after we lead in Game 7 off of Nolan's breakaway goal prior to Kipper letting in several softies.
I was listening to the Fan960 and they talked about how eerily similar Ottawa and Calgary have progressed and where they stand today. Do you guys agree?

I agree with how Darryl cant be blamed for being stubborn. A lot of his moves were praised when made (last one being jokinen). I think the wheels fell of when Joker didnt work and the Dion deal was done in desperation

I dont think the Dion move was born out of desperation, but something (whether you believe it or not) in the locker room.
The NYR deal and the Edmonton Oilers deal on the other hand....

maybe not desperation then, but it was a terrible deal. i hated it then and hated it now, as did a lot of people. brutal brutal brutal, and it was the start of sutters bad moves.
Doug Wilson? Someone wants Doug Wilson? Now I've heard everything.
Question for CP radio: How important do you feel it is for the Flames as a team to have an identity and stick to it? Or can you deviate from it to try and add good pieces?
