For those who have played Rage, does the "motion sickness" aspect get better with time? I played the demo and the way the camera moves around (your view since it is FPS) is nauseating. I have never had a problem with any other game, but I was getting a headache after playing minutes into the demo. I want to try it, but lordy it wobbles around so much I just can't take it.

What multiplayer game should a guy buy for the Xbox? I have a year of XBL, so I might as well try and get some use out of it. The new COD, or Battlefield? I don't mind war games. Something else? I have NHL12.
Go with Battlefield. It's a ton of fun once you start unlocking good weapons.
There's a bit of a tough learning curve, but once you "get it", you'll have fun.

What's the consensus on the amount of space needed for Kinect? I have 8 feet from my TV bench to the couch. I might be able to get another 6-12 inches of clearance if I get creative on mounting it above my TV. Will this be enough space? I cannot rearrange any furniture. I suppose if it doesn't work I can always return it correct?

I have about the same space and it works. Some games I am right back near my couch though.

Bastion is on sale for half price on Xbox this week for anyone interested in an awesome indie game. Probably the best download/indie game I've played (Limbo is a close second).
I generally dislike snowboarding games (and skateboard games, and racing games, and water skiing, etc., etc.,) but SSX Tricky provided some of the most fun gaming experiences I've had.
There were nights I'd be awake playing til 6:00 a.m., and other times I'd play for 15 minutes and want to throw the PS2 controller through the TV. The force was either with you or not; when it was, attaining a super high score was such an exhilarating feeling, especially if you were playing among friends.

SSX and SSX Tricky are two of my all tie favourites. Really stoked for the new one.

I've got the skills to pay the bills. Best line ever.
Picked up Final Fantasy XIII-2 yesterday, and being the total Square-Enix fanboy that I am, I took this week off to play it. I'm about 15 hours into it.
Love the battle mechanics, the art, and slick menu executions. They also improved on the "corridor" complaints of FFXIII. Of course, this being a JRPG, the cheesy melodrama is expected, and being the veteran anime watcher / manga reader / JRPG player that I am, I've basically come to accept it as part of Japanese otaku culture.
Can't say I'm in love with the overall story though. Don't get me wrong, I'm actually one of the few people who liked the original story in FFXIII, but I'm a little iffy on the whole time travel thing this time around. Seems like it's just all over the place, and they explain everything with paradoxes. Seems like lazy story writing IMO. Here's hoping it gets better.
