Teräväinen is built like Dakota Fanning. He's always been late to develop physically which is why he'll have to be brought in slowly by the Hawks even though he dominated his age group at U20.

Said this during the draft and it hasn't changed since. Not going to make a quick transition no matter how highly he was rated.

avg, 11:35 in ice time this year, puts up 4 points in 15 gp? Not the greatest start.

Then in the AHL, good for 6g and 19 a for 25 points in 39 gp? meh.

And I am a huge Teravainen fan. Was freaking out when the Flames could have taken him.

Wow. That's hard to believe that we took Janko over Teravainen.

I could definitely see them getting rid of MacArthur.

I read somewheres that Hawks fans have really cooled off on TT, might need a few years to round out his game.

I think another year will be enough. Seems like the Hawks weren't comfortable giving him unsheltered minutes this season.

Prospects are almost always at their hottest right before they transition to the pros. It's striking how the perspectives shift.

Roy admits the Avs are looking into moving ROR, but says he would be surprised if they traded him.

Wow, was Kane the glue?

David Diehl ‏@davediehl66
First Kane out 12 weeks and now a divided team after fist fight in the #Blackhawks locker room. There are locker room codes you do not cross

Have to wonder who was involved...seems like a pretty close group from the outside.

Any bets Carcillo was involved? I'm guessing he walked around the room ripping peoples shirts off as I hear he's prone to doing at weddings.

Wonder if this helps pry a good player out of CHI now. A little shake up in the room.

No doubt some stress on figuring their cup chances just took a nose dive.

Rangers and Jets are interested in Vermette but only if price makes sense
Blackhawks may look at Glencross, but in LeBrun's opinion Vermette makes more sense

No question Bruins will make a move before the deadline
Interesed in Cole, Glencross and Stewart
Chiarelli tried to get DSP

Caps targeting top 9 forward
believed to be interested in Cole, Glencross, and Lupul

Francis would not confirm whether any other team was willing to spend a first-round pick.

What he would confirm is that he has no interest in trading Jordan Staal after rumors flew out of Pittsburgh last weekend.

"There was no truth to any of that stuff," said Francis.

Francis sees the team's rebuild being around the Staal brothers -- Eric and Jordan -- as those two players are important to the fabric of a team that’s getting younger.

Chicago likely isn't going to be moved too far off of where they currently sit in the standings. Even at 9 weeks for Patrick Kane, that's putting him out until the end of the first round. Chicago taking on St.Louis without Patrick Kane changes things up than if they take them on with him in the lineup. They are a team who's window really is right now to win. I do expect that they would be willing to do something significant to bolster their lineup. They didn't play this season wanting to make the playoffs and lose in round one and hope for better next year.
