Keep in mind (as it says in the story), these are based on someone's description of the jerseys made by a person who hasn't actually seen the final product.

The real thing will likely look different.

According to the Red Wings official Reddit account, the leak is inaccurate.

Attention everyone, this isn't even close to the real thing, no need to panic. The real one will be unveiled soon, it's a beauty.

The Northstar jerseys in the 90s with the black trim are among the best all time. Something about that colour scheme is just so incredible.

It's pretty obvious what should have happened here...

1. Take the Detroit winter classic away jersey from Boston and make a home (dark) version of it.

2. The Colorado rockies with the Avs colouring is just fine, eliminate the slash and give me some trad rockies horizontal stripes and we're good.

Hopefully that Wild jersey somewhat matches one of the three other jerseys they use that don't look anything like each other.

Sounds like that jersey on s simply an alumni jersey for the former North Star & Wild players

These are apparently from a Reebok product catalog for the Stadium Series games...

Also, from the same source...

Dear Lord, I hope they don't do that to the Wild's logo. If they went all white/grey/off-white to make it look like a polar bear/blizzard, it might not look too bad, but just turning the green to white is hideous.

That white indicates that section will be transparent, as its on a green background.

Not bad. Leaked from NHL Shop International.

I'll reserve full judgement for when the full gear set (helmet, pants, gloves, socks and jersey) is released. Overall, it could be a lot worse.

As I understand it, that is Colorado's new third jersey for this season. They will still have a different one for the Stadium Series game.
