I think Oilers' fans are the worst thing on this planet.

If we had to declare war on ISIS or Oilers fans and could only pick one I think I'd vote for Oilers fans.

All these Oiler jerseys popping up everywhere, I wonder where they stashed their Flames and Canucks Ones they purchased over the last 10 years.

Edmonton tackles issue of public urination following hockey games
http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/edmont...108387?cmp=rss

It's funny how news articles on this topic keep coming up again and again. It's like the #2 news story after Connor McDavid.

EDIT: And it's not even inside their shiny new arena, either... their bathroom problems are everywhere.

This is a great time to say it again: Edmonton is and will always be no good. Suck it Oilers.

So glad that nightmare is over. It's really hard to imagine next season going that well for the Oilers given creampuff schedule and zero injuries to any significant players (Nurse was hurt for a while but he's terrible). This was maybe the best shot at the cup that team may ever get seeing key players are in line for massive raises.

Actually had to come to McDavidland today to help my dad with a house thing. Standing on his porch finishing a beer right now, the silence outside is beautiful 😊

Can't wait for the Oilers to disclose a phantom injury like bruised knees or something, to excuse away McDavid's terriawful postseason.

22 combined wins, 4 combined series wins.

If you start counting from 06/07 the totals are: 12 for Calgary, 7 for Edmonton.
That sure brings back painful memories of those four straight first round losses. Probably a topic for another day, but man we had some stacked teams especially in 05/06. Would still love to get some "behind the scenes" insight as to how that core was never able to ramp it up in the playoffs.

They will clear cap space by dumping Eberle and RNH for next to nothing in a trade, which will allow for those massive raises.

The real nightmare keeping Flames brass awake at night is that the Oilers have found a #1 goaltender who can cover up for mistakes in front of him.

They still need to replace those players...it's not like they can dump them and sign 2/3 of a 2nd line for much cheaper.

I believe.

Who knows if Talbot can keep this level of play going forward. Their backend still is mediocre and without his MVP level play they would be a bubble team.

Still Eberle was a 20 goal, 50 point player this season and a nice luxury to have him and RNH on the 2nd/3rd line. They can send both of them out for draft picks but their depth takes a massive hit and they are instantly a worse overall team as they will be replaced by plugs. As poor a season as RNH had they won't find a better center for their 3rd line as he played tonight.
