Only thing I don't like about Riverside is holes 10, 11, and especially 12 having houses so close. Makes me extremely nervous to play those holes and usually ends up costing be a couple shots per hole as I end up playing super cautious.

Those holes also have the strongest mountain effect on the greens. I almost feel like tipping over when I stand on them, sometimes.

Old Course if your picking one for sure. Pretty dead out there usually too except on weekends so you can usually get through quickly. Another gem in the area is the Ponoka Golf course. It get overshadowed by Wolf Creek but is a very nice track.

I've heard it's in pretty good shape this year. They've had a tough couple of years conditions-wise but they may be finally fully recovered from the flooding.

^^^ Congrats Weitz! Would love to have one.
Had a soul crushing round yesterday. Was absolutely cruising and decided to play safe on a 330 yard par four. Decided to layback, to leave a full wedge into the green. Hit a three iron too well, to inside 80 yards. I'm horrible inside 90 yards. Tried to hit a 60 degree wedge, but hit it right in the forehead, about 40 yards over the green into a bush. Took a drop, then clipped a tree trying to make a 2-in-10 shot. One more to get on, and two putts later, and I was headed to the 17th tee box almost in tears, after taking a triple bogey. Shot 71 (31-40), with a triple bogey on a short par four late in the round. One bad swing on the day, and it cost huge. I hate golf.

Yeah I played horrible this morning, first time I've ever quit after 9 out of anger.
Started par-par-bogey-par
Then made 5 on a par 3, 8 on a par 5, bogey, bogey, then on the 9th hole (par 4) hit my 5th shot out of the bunker over the green. Picked it up and left.

funny how perspective is everything as this would look like a typical stretch for me......sometimes not keeping an exact score is a good thing.....
