Interesting. Even with Fucale, I still think the Flames walk away as big winners in the short term and depending on how Fucale pans out it might be a bit of a wash.
From what it looks like it was:
Flames:
Cammalleri
Ramo
5th Round [Culkan]
Habs:
Bourque
Holland
2nd Round [Fucale]
I'm not sure how anyone can say that Bourque has been better or at least even with Cammalleri. Stats wise Cammalleri has been much stronger and even though we're in a rebuild he's been an Assistant Captain and face of the franchise since Iggy left.
Ramo is potentially rounding into our number one goalie for the next few years, while Holland is only just breaking into the NHL. I'd say advantage goes to Calgary, because without Ramo we're looking at a Berra/MacDonald Tandem in net this year.
Fucale, maybe the big win long term but I'm not sure that Culkin won't be a complete bust.
