I’ll echo what the Barn Burner crew was saying, why on earth are we not playing the kids? Why are we giving the Backlund line 20+ minutes a night? We know what they bring, at least swap Mangipanne off of it and put a different rookie on the line.
Questionable coaching moves for sure, just no need when the seasons done and you’re better off seeing what you have in the system. This group is boring to watch.

I am not enjoying watching Mangiapane play at this point. Big time going through the motions now.
Okhotiuk plays a little too basic for me but maybe he's just being cautious because he's in and out of the line up.
Flames need to generate better looks out there. Lots of hopeful shots through traffic but the chances weren't great.

This team will be bad for the next two years, I would not worry. Suspect Markstrom gets moved this summer and it would not surprise me if a soon to be 34 year old Kadri talks to Conroy about being moved. I think there will be at least two big pieces moved out and UFAs that can actually help your team do not sign in places where the window for winning is 3-4 years out (minimum).
