Ah Star Trek fans when you're not incompetently blowing up your own star ships or intentionally blowing them up to avoid a fight, you're allowing your teenagers to be assimilated by more influential species.
And when the fight gets too tough you all throw up your arms and cry "woah woah woah, Prime Directive".
Yeah, we're more distracted by our planet and solar system killing weapons. The ability of our hero's to basically choke you to death without leaving our coach, or making you punch yourself in the face while saying "Stop hitting yourself" with the flick of our fingers.

Farscape > Firefly > B5 > Battlestar > Star Trek/Star Wars (tie)
Haven't seen Expanse. Anything post DS9 and post Episode 3 continues to be a very dark time.

You can sense the frustration in Star Wars fans always -- it's likely because they relate very well to the movie's heroes, who live loveless, celibate lifestyles and only get to kiss their sister.
Trek fans of course relate more closely to men like Captain James T. Kirk, and you know how the romance life goes for him.

Actually I have no idea what Captain Kirk’s romance life was like because my knowledge of Star Trek is very limited but I can’t imagine that Han Solo didn’t do better. Such a scoundrel he was.

Well in short: Kirk spent three seasons of the show successfully womanizing new hot alien babes every other episode.
Han Solo spent three whole movies being a simp for one girl who wasn't really that interested and only settled for him when she found out the guy she liked better was actually her brother.

Nah, Han was just confident enough to not have to kiss and tell. Kirk clearly had a number of insecurities. If he was as smooth as you’re suggesting he wouldn’t have to settle for aliens.

oh you mean the Captain that used his position as Captain "To seduce" junior crew woman and vulnerable woman. Also Bones probably kept having to replicated cures to all kinds of horrible space VD vaccines for Kirk.
And Star Trek is the series where a whole species of males are so terrified of woman that they have sex once every seven years, which is reflective of most Trek fans.
Meanwhile in Star Wars it has the story of the poor guy from the wrong side of the tracks who gets to marry the hot princess, not once but twice.
Plus we can lift #### up with our minds.
