I drive from the Okanagan to Calgary and back pretty regularly and can't help but to play and think of Canadian Railroad Trilogy each time I drive the mountains, Craigellachie (Last Spike) and through with the Mountains and Marian as well. And loads more. Gord's country.
Edit: forgot to add that we camped at Pancake Bay while driving across Canada for Canada 150 and looked out at where the Edmund Fitzgerald went down.
And who remembers the Riverboat and the Mynah Bird?
