We now have in depth scouting profiles from our scout Sandman linked within the rankings spreadsheet under the second column "UH" - simply click on that to be taken to that respective profile.
For this edition, you will notice additional tab NHL-CS, which is our Chief Scout E-Mac's exclusive combining of NHL Central Scouting's normally segregated Final Rankings."

Tij had the 5th highest shot rate in the WHL.
36 even strength goals.
Only 17 of his points were PP points. So he was a point per game player at 5v5.
You can say what you want about the kid but he scores and shoots and generates it all without being reliant on the power play, AT 17.
He's very good.

sorry if this has been posted. Conroy interview on the FAN. At the 23:30 mark he talks about the draft. I like the discussion of previous draft picks that didn't pan out, or players they passed on for the wrong reasons. Did not name names, but that makes it fun to speculate. Glad they do a retrospective evaluation of what went right and wrong.

That he is. That's why he's ranked just outside the top 10 in a deep draft.

Eiserman with a hattrick today.
No denying his offense/shot is top tier.

McQueen ejected for kneeing. Third penalty of the game. Guy needs to reign it in a bit but I hope we get him next year

I'm kind of warming to the Flames taking him if he's there at 9. I understand that he has holes to his game but in one of the most important skills in the game he's truly elite and I'd rather bet on a team being able to fill in those holes then I would bet on them building a skill of someone else to truly elite.

While I think he has an elite shot and a great instinct for the game I am really looking at us getting a top end D or a top 6 C hopefully. If I had to choose between Eiserman and Iginla I would chose Tij.

His stock could fall.

I have a question, that is probably easily answered by the folks on his site. Can teams get access to medical records of the draft eligible players prior to the draft? If so, then it is less of a concern in my mind because the teams should have pretty good advice in that scenario and it lessens the risk so much.

I believe so, medical testing should be released prior to the combine I thought.

Do we select Lindstrom even if he can't do a pull up?

Players having all these injury issues this early not a good sign. I would stay away, he is screaming bust.

I was watching some videos of Silayev, and he is a really unique player. I have never seen a guy that big skate as well as he does. He has the center of balance of a 5' 9" player, but he is 6' 7". You practically never see really tall people with proportions that he has.

Yeah, same. Conroy gambled on an injured player last draft, and so far, it's looking a little sketchy. Not that I am giving up on Honzek, but injuries are definitely hurting him. With Lindstrom, I think it's even worse because it's his back. Back issues are one of those things that it seems like once a player has them, they will always have them.

Or you can profit from a top prospect falling into your lap that normally wouldn't have been available at pick 9. It's going to come down to how comfortable team doctors are about his long term outlook after looking at the medical report. I would be more open to picking him with the injury had the team not selected Honzek last season. Would be tough to have your last two first round picks have their development slowed by injuries.
