[Video] Dougie Hamilton - 16/17 Highlights
VIDEO
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YIULBYon_E8
Funny start, then he and Gio got put together and they dominated offensively and defensively.
Travis Yost article: Hamilton and Giordano are the best pairing in hockey
I also threw a little something special in at the end.

Gio is up next!

Giordano-Hamilton were unreal last year.
Everything about their success pointed to sustainability as well. They dominated in every possible way. As long as Gio stays in shape they will both be in the top 10 for Norris votes.

Stud. I can see a Norris trophy in his future or at least a top 3 finish in votes.

To me, he'll establish himself as our best and most important player on the team very soon.

Just what I needed to come across as I'm about to pass out for the night.

Heh.... "Ekholm-Subban aren't even the best pairing on their team". Wonder if people still think that.

Getting Dougie out of Boston and into a Flames uniform has to be Treliving's best single move to date. His physical attributes and on ice play are the very definition of a franchise defenseman, what an unforeseen score for the Flames.
He's in the young core that will likely still get better in the coming years. Very exciting.

Awesome finish AC lol
Also it warms my heart seeing that Anaheim blow out game in some of these highlights.

Two things:
(1) D. Hamilton's physical play is severely underrated.
(2) Which pundit said that Hamilton's physical play was not necessarily "earth-shattering hits" but because he's so bony/angular, his hits REALLY hurt?
(3) God, I love those retro reds
(4) I may or may not be drunk. #MathIsHard

This might be the most impressive highlight video yet. I could see Dougie being the Flames MVP this season.

Great vid as always.
Hamilton is a beast. That size and even with the middling mean streak he's formidable sheerly because of his man strength.
Skates like a deer, top tier offensive instincts and getting better and better in his own end.
Definitely think he's going to get to No. 1 d-man status (if he's not there already).
Can't wait to see him get better and better.

Hopefully this will help get the group-think that Hamilton sucks defensively and never uses the body to rest.
Great job AC. He is still young, an of course makes his share of mistakes, but it is hard not to be impressed after watching that video. I think Hamilton will start turning a lot more heads this season.

Is this missing that one prhotobomb where the lights came on or went off, seemingly right on cue? I can't recall exactly...

It's the first one. It looks like he snaps his fingers and the lights come on.
