I can't find anything about it. I'm not even sure what to search for.

Not really an odd question, but not a question that deserves a full thread either.

Somehow our faucet handle snapped off yesterday (It's one of these type - https://www.homedepot.ca/en/home/p.1...000842006.html) A metal part inside snapped and can't be fixed, so a whole replacement needs to be bought and installed. So $50 roughly, and I'll have a go at installing it.

Would you argue that this our landlord's responsibility or ours? We've lived there for 7 years, so we're thinking that the wear and tear is likely on us.

That's landlord territory, but it's an easyish job. You may not want to do it though, becuase if it leaks while you are out and water goes everywhere, maybe you are liable?

If it was me and I was your landlord I would want to do it (or have it done).

With my rental, this stuff is taken care of by myself (the landlord.) I wouldn't want the tenant messing around with plumbing stuff that he/she might not know anything about. At point I did have a tenant that was a plumber and she mentioned that the bath tub faucet handle was leaking and that she could take care of it for cheap. I let her do it because I trusted her.

That's definitely on the land lord. You're renting the place and the faucets aren't meant to last forever. They're going to break eventually and that's on the land lord to fix.

Ol' calgaryblood is correct.

This is the landlord's problem.

What do you send to a florist who's in the hospital?

Where is this? It shows up on Google Maps as being a picture of Calgary. It's more likely that it's a picture south/west of Calgary, but where? The landscape would seem to suggest Okanagan area, no?

Seems like I'm a heavy user of this thread.

What used to be here and how long has it been gone?

That was a motel as far as I remember, not sure how long the site has been vacant.
