Jeez, just turned on the TV, 7-0? I guess I shouldn't be surprised anymore.

I highly doubt you could hit off an MLB pitcher. He has been terrible this year but not,"I could hit the ball harder" bad.
I am sure he will either figure out what it is bothering him or adjust to just make some better contact and not have to hit the ball out of the yard every time.

Good timing once again for me. Back inside, turn on the TV just in time to see a 2 run shot.
9-4 now. Why am I watching this?

I gave up after 6-0. I was tempted to turn it back at 7-4 but held off. Looks like I made the right choice.

Gave up runs in all but 2 innings today.
This MIGHT be a wild card team if they weren't being continually decimated by injuries but as it stands right now they are unlikely to string anything decent together.
Luckily the Yankees and Red Sox haven't pulled away yet so there is still a slim hope.

Remember the off season when we were told we were playoff contenders because inspite of our bullpen and aging team we'd make the playoffs on the strength of our starters?
Yep, the starters are 18th as a team in ERA and 24th in WHIP...

To be fair weve missed 22 starts from that projected rotation.
Doesnt help that Estrada has suddenly turned into a pumpkin.

Yes, but we also went into the season with the infamous "If everything goes right we could still be a playoff team" prayer.
Rarely ever works in MLB. If you're a team that could make the playoffs with every player having a good season and no major injuries you're not really a playoff team.

Guy said that the starters have been a weak spot despite being touted as a strength pre-season.
I just pointed out that the starters have missed almost 1/3rd of their scheduled starts to this point in the season. Not many rotations are going to overcome that and post strong numbers.

In the it could be worse category, the Orioles have extended their 15 game record breaking run of allowing 5 or more runs in a game to 20 straight so far tonight.
