Good stuff

Huberdeau is gaining confidence. Hopefully the shootout didn’t re-break him

I think shooters league wide are 28% in shootouts this season, I wouldn't read much into missing a chance. 3 goals in 10 shooters tonight

I think he's referring to not even getting a shot ... puck bounced.

Thought both Andersson and Huberdeau struggled on the night, so it was personally frustrating to me to see them get shootout attempts. Huberdeau's body language in particular looked like he was in his head and was going to miss the moment he picked up the puck at center.

I think Huberdeau looks quite good. He is making plays and offence flows through him on that line, he is creating high danger chance. He is also playing good defensive game, a lot of the times he id the first forward back to break up a rush and has a good stick to intercept passes in his own zone. Dman, especially Desimone, are finally jumping into play that helps Huby create many chances. There is still room for improvement, especially make more high end passes, but it’s a good start and he is looking more like himself now

I have a bit of a problem with the Markstrom wasn't great early but saved the game later narrative. It's true, but not really a positive. A better performance would be to not give up as many goals early and still make all the late big saves. Just as one can argue he is the reason they got a point, one can also argue he is the reason they only got one point.
