I like this approach and I wouldn't be shocked if Schnur pulls off the upset on Friday.

I'm not so sure to be honest. Ramanathan has beaten some big time players (Thiem and Dutra Silva) this year and is probably better than his ranking indicates. Schnur is going to have to play some of the best tennis of his life to take three sets.

If Schnur loses the opener It will be interesting to see what the strategy is as Canada could very well lose the doubles match and be forced into a sudden death situation on Sunday....maybe Vasek comes into the final day of singles if able?

And God damn. Four set points, no conversion. Schnur is losing focus on big points. He could well have won this match already, instead in danger of going down 2-1. Ramanathan is battling like a mofo.
