So Clinton has been changing her messaging to "I will be tough on corporations and remove corporate money from campaigns" in an attempt to draw away some Sanders supporters. At the same time, she ran a bunch of fundraisers telling corporations that "I cannot run this campaign without your money". Can Clinton get any more two faced than this? Hm... I wonder which of these is actually true.

“You're not going to find anybody more committed to aggressive campaign finance reform than me,” Clinton said, promising to “crack down on corporations that game the system.”
Only days later, Clinton’s campaign is launching a fundraising blitz that includes events with representatives of industries that have significant business interests before the federal government. An International Business Times review of fundraising invitations found that the Clinton campaign’s nationwide tour includes events with corporate officials from the food, investment and energy sectors — all of which have vested financial interests in the policies that the next presidential administration will decide.

Everyone seems to have given up on that and moved on to the much simpler task of figuring out religion and morality.

While fair, Christianity is a fundamental cog of the American political system, no matter how heinous their god-like forefathers would find that to be.
Another Democratic debate tonight. Have a feeling this is where it starts to get dirty. Sanders needs another strong showing to keep the momentum going.
I really hope Sanders stays away from the "dirty" politics. I like to think he's ignoring the attack on purpose. It just seems like something he would be completely against partaking in. One could argue that would be a downfall of his, but I think in this climate, it might prove to be a better strategy to to just stay out of the sh** and let Clinton's contradictions speak for themselves.
Oh I think the dirty is going to stem from the Clinton camp. I like to see Sanders just continue to stick to the facts, answer any attacks and move on. But do so with his passion so that he continues to show backbone. Not just run away from things like Jeb.
As a whole though if you fact check the democratic debates with the GOP debates it's night and day. A whole heck of a lot of more truth on one side than the other that's for sure.
This is not going to be a substantive post but I just can't stand Hillary's wardrobe anymore. Who keeps dressing her in those long jackets with "turtle necks." In my opinion it is such a horrible look. I find it hard to believe that she throws on one of those jackets and people honestly comment that she looks good. She really needs to freshen up her look and become more modern.

I only caught a bit tonight, but I was much more impressed with Hillary tonight. When she settles down and talks instead of talking out loud/almost yelling she can be very effective. She really does have a huge advantage over Bernie when it comes to foreign policy, so if she sticks to that she should be ok.
I find myself cheering for Bernie to win, but I wonder if his emotional pull to the voters isn't wearing off. The universal health care/free tuition costs are tough for him to back up. If Hillary can keep proving his numbers don't add up (in a calm manner) she will make him look bad.
I like Bernie, and I still expect Hillary to win. Unless he can do something special soon she should be ok.
I expect Clinton to win the Dem nomination, but only because she has support of the traditional voting block of old white dudes. Sanders is carrying women, and surprisingly, the youth voting block. If Sanders can get those two groups seriously engaged, Clinton is in serious trouble.
The campaign of Senator Ted Cruz of Texas released a biting negative ad against Senator Marco Rubio of Florida on Thursday, featuring a mock focus group and a woman decrying Mr. Rubio as nothing more than a “pretty face.”
Few will see that ad, however. The woman who made the comment in the ad is a soft-core pornography actress.
The woman, Amy Lindsay, as first reported by BuzzFeed, has appeared in multiple movies with titles like “Carnal Wishes,” “Insatiable Desires” and “Private Sex Club.” Ms. Lindsay told BuzzFeed that she was a Christian conservative and a Republican, deciding between supporting Mr. Cruz or Donald J. Trump.
Right, that's the Christian thing to do. Because as Jesus said of Mary Magdalene, "Unfortunately, she was not vetted by my disciples. Obviously if I had known about her past, I wouldn't have let her wash my feet."

So it looks like the DNC is actively helping out Clinton in a big way right on the heels of a new national poll showing Sanders within 7% of Clinton. While no one was looking, and Clinton is running her corporate fundraising campaign blitz, the DNC removed Obama's anti-corruption campaign finance restriction rules. This is right after Clinton claims "You're not going to find anybody more committed to aggressive campaign finance reform than me". Shady as hell but shows the establishment is sweating bullets though.

The Democratic National Committee has rolled back restrictions introduced by presidential candidate Barack Obama in 2008 that banned donations from federal lobbyists and political action committees.
The decision, which may provide an advantage to Hillary Clinton’s candidacy, was viewed with disappointment Friday morning by good government activists who saw it as a step backward in the effort to limit special interest influence in Washington.
