Panthers dominated for about 15 minutes of the first and then TB popped one. Things will settle down now im guessing and should be a dandy.

Panthers didn't allow a shot against for the first 15 minutes, and then Tampa woke up a little for the last few minutes.

I'll take that effort from the Panthers, just so long as they focus a little more on defense when in their own end.

Penalty on Lundell, but he was checked hard twice in front of the net without having the puck. Not sure how the ref decided that interference isn't a penalty only for Lundell.

A very cautious second from both teams. Not a lot of shots either way.

It's always their m.o. to be a little less aggressive in the 2nd with the long change. The Panthers are a strong 3rd period team, so look for them to get more aggressive in the last period.

The Panthers learned ALLOT last year with that tenacious style and I think they know more about cadence and pace this year.

I don't think they'll be denied much this year other teams seem to never be ready to answer when it really matters and not thr other way around.

Big goal by Verhaeghe to put the Panthers up early in the 3rd. He's such a clutch playoff performer, but that was also a beautiful pass by Barkov.

What a pass by Barkov. Tkachuk takes attention in front of the net as Verhaeghe vanishes from the play, to suddenly appear at the back door.

That was nice movement.
