I'm at 47 Magikarp candies. I think my end goal in this game is to evolve one.
Came home and the gym a street over from me had an opposing team with a CP 28 Charmander. So I rolled it with my 807 Hypno and set him up at the gym. 3 minutes later I'm home and somebody already beat me.

Not sure if these things are location based or what, but I grabbed 20+ standing just west of the Eau Claire market bridge, on the island side.

I usually catch all of the drowzee, and the occasional zubat and spearow.
The lapras was definitely a one off.

There's a gym by my work (can't reach it from work... >.<) that now has 7 pokemon guarding it. I'd hate to try to take that thing. I usually only see gyms with 1-3 pokemon on them.

Yea once you get to a certain level the better pokemon get a lot harder to catch. Does that get better by leveling?
I'm finding even giving them a razz berry they break out or run away a lot.
