Ugh, awful for him. That might be hard to come back from in your 30's.
Granlund coming up?

Yikes, this could be career threatening for him. He is not a player that can afford to lose a step.

Wow. Too bad for Matty.
Is Granlund our best option down on the farm?

I'll wait. While he's likely right, Millions does speculate quite often.
Granted, this tweet doesn't have a "hmmmmm" at the end, so who knows?

No one is missing from Adirondack...yet.
They are down to only 13 healthy and eligible forwards so this could get interesting.

Damn, one of the more versatile players on the roster.
Started the season on the 4th line, didn't whine, didn't complain. Moved up and played equally well in that role. He's not the offensive player Darryl Sutter or anyone else thought he would be when acquired but he's proven to be a good piece.

well crap. Wish him all the best and I hope Rog is wrong on this one ... Stajan turns 31 next month and this could be very difficult to come back from. Let's hope it's not too severe

Well that blows goats. I can't say Tinordi did it on purpose or intended to injure, but he sure seems like a giant pea-brained goof who just skates around randomly bumping into things.

Hmm wonder if their would be cap/floor implications if he's out long term or outright.
And of course feel terrible for the guy. Rough year for his family already

I saw it on slow motion and it looked as if it bent the wrong way. I wish the best for him and wish him a speedy recovery, though I fear he may be out for the season. Hope to hear news about our Jumbo Joe's injury as well.

This is awful, unintentional knee on knee could be career threatening. One of those freak injuries.
Hopefully it's not too significant and Stajan has a speedy recovery.

I had a knee on knee about 8 years ago that tore my meniscus that needed to be scoped. I'm hoping that is all for Ragin Stajan.

I don't dislike Stajan anymore - this is too bad for him, he has played really well for the Flames the past couple years.
Hope he has a full recovery and is back sooner than later.

This is terrible news.
I was at the game last night and lost it on a bunch of Habs fans saying that Stajan was diving.

No cap floor implications at all. Putting a guy on LTIR does not remove him from your payroll, it merely allows you to exceed the cap in certain situations.
And that definitely sucks for Stajan, he's always been the consummate pro. It was obvious right away that it was not a good injury.
