I know we are desperate for good ypu g players but no need to overrate guys we have.

He has been fine as a 4th defenseman, struggled now that he has been asked to do more and should be no where near the C.

Not saying he'd be a bad choice based on his on-ice performance but there's way more to it than that. Hard to say how he is in the room, his relationship with coaching & management, etc. I think someone like Glencross or Gio is more likely.

I dunno, from afar Glencross seems occasionally lazy and inconsistent in the effort he brings from night to night, I don't think he's captain material. Giordano I'd agree with for sure.

I think Cervenka is worth another shake. He's had a lot to deal with this season. Injuries, newborn baby, culture shift, new language, new ice size, the list goes on and on. I hope we bring him back and he can be a big help to this rebuilding team. He's got well above average vision and some very slick mitts--totally worth investing our time into.
