The Book of Mormon is coming through Alberta in the new year.
A critically acclaimed musical from the guys who created South Park.
Supposed to be really good! Won a bunch of awards.
Wanted to see it in NYC when I was there last year but it was sold out FOR MONTHS.
Pre-sale tickets are on sale today, with general sale tomorrow (I think).

The main collection is comprised of different bangles designed to be stacked (worn together).
The majority of the charms have a meaning to them, or just feature a nice design.
http://www.alexandani.com/bangles.html
All the bangles expand so it's a one size fit all design. They're all made in the US and made of recycled brass, sustainability is a big part of the brand.
Prices range from $32 - $64.

You asked for help on a hockey chat forum. Seems to me you are really stuck )) I suspect jewelry is what she really wants

What about a pass to her favourite yoga studio? You could also Google yoga retreats, those are amazing and she's probably love it depending on your budget.
What about a road trip to somewhere like Waterton or Jasper for a weekend?

My wife has actually hinted at a new sewing machine but I think that would be playing with fire. Maybe I'll be safe and buy some nice jewellery.

This actually is a perfect situation to drive the wife to look at them and offer to pay for the one she wants for her Christmas present.
I've noticed many women seem to like this option. (Unofficial poll of about 5-6 women)
Actual suggestion though...
Do some chores you've been neglecting. Drive the SO to mall and attempt to be somewhat interested in what they want to look at (even if you're not, stray away from jewelery if necessary), make purchase. Declare it the Christmas present. Gauge response, back pedal if necessary. Rinse and repeat if dog house is imminent.

If you go to Eddi Bauer they have these goose down blankets. They are extremely soft and awesome. I don't have a wife, but girls do seem to enjoy the blanket.

I'm liking this idea, I'm surprised wifey hasn't hinted at this already. Could it be possible I've heard of something that's popular with women before her??!!
I'd be totally lost as to where to begin....is there a starter kit...lol?

usually I'm absolutely terrible at this stuff, so this year I went all out and booked a 4 day trip for me and the girlfriend to Paris. If that's not a homerun, I really don't know what is ...

Trips are always a good idea. This Xmas, I got her a trip to Vegas (and for me, two tickets to Penn & Teller at Rio Las Vegas).

I bought her a vintage Hermes silk scarf on eBay, and a Patagonia fleece.
