@rickygervais: Watch my interview with the hilarious @CraigyFerg tonight. I use the term "interview" loosely. It was more like an argument outside a pub.
Can Conservatives be funny? Dennis Miller kind of vanished after coming out.
The Plight of Conservative Comedy: Where's the Right's Daily Show?
Political philosophy isn't what keeps Republican-leaning comics from succeeding—it's corporate hurdles, cultural forces, and the demographics of show business.
The creators of Flipside don’t think so. Their once-a-week program, in the vein of The Daily Show or The Colbert Report but with a generally conservative tilt, hosted by comedian Michael Loftus, will premiere this fall. Can it work?
So if philosophy isn’t preventing conservative comedy from flourishing, what is? Structural, demographic, and financial issues.
The first great conservative comedy show will put humor before ideology. As Mark Twain noted, “Humor is never artificial.”

The Daily Show isn't a liberal show. It's hosted by someone with a liberal viewpoint, but they still go after Obama and democrats when they do stupid stuff. Usually though the Republicans offer them far more ammunition to work with. If they make this show as another Republican propaganda piece like everything else on Fox News it'll fail
The Preatures perform my favorite song of 2013 on Kimmel:
I could see that song being played quietly over the speakers at a small coffee shop. No huge hooks or changes, mellow tone throughout, with soft, mild vocals, but kind a catchy.
VIDEO PREMIERE: The Sexiest Elbows in Rock Music - Split Single So excited to be kicking off the week by debuting a brand new (and very funny) video from Spilt Single, featuring Tonight Show friends like Fred Armisen, Tim Meadows, Bob Mould, and more!
The Quest stands upon the edge of a knife. Stray but a little, and it will fail, to the ruin of all. Yet hope remains while the Company is true. Go Flames Go!
