As a traveler...
Never avoid going somewhere or doing something because someone tells you terrible things about it.
Always do whats on your mind, you'll regret it fast if you don't
be respectful and nice to everyone, it is incredible the people you meet.

I love this! Basically how I am living my life at the moment. Don't know where I am sleeping tomorrow, or even what country I may be in... but in the end, it usually works out... "The parachute always opens"

Another thing I've learned while doing renovations is that sometimes it is a lot easier to rip something out and re-do it from scratch than to try and fix it.

Showing you have done anything in life to the best of your ability will leave you without the stress of wondering if you could have done better.
DO your best and the rest will take care of itself. Others that see you've gone farther will appreciate it...if they don't its their loss.
Never criticize, condemn or complain about someone unless your willing to step in the shoes of that person.
manners ARE IMPORTANT

An education is not complete until you go live and work in another place different than where you grew up. That can be a city or a country

i have learned that it is sometimes worth my time to sit with the wife and watch some cooking or decorating show........oddly enough, I don't feel the need to have her watch TV with me though
i have also heard that you should not eat yellow snow

To purposefully allot time in my week to relax and do nothing. Trying to accomplish too much in one timeframe will only lead to stress.

If you have to fart...just fart...no sense getting stomach cramps.
Works awesome if you want the elevator all to yourself.

nothing like dropping a bomb in the lift and then having the car stop - folks get in and you can't look em in the eye 'cause you dropped it, you know it, and they are thinking it likely you that dropped it, but maybe not.......

Many types of opportunities only come up once in your life. Think long and hard if you decide to pass on one because you may never see it again.

People are stupid.
Sounds bad, but it helps keep things in perspective and allows me to be more tolerant when people do stupid things (i.e. it's not they're fault; they can't help themselves).

Beer before liquor, get drunk quicker. Liquor before beer, you like Pam Grier.
