Kylington and Vey with some beauty moves to set Morrison up for the goal!

Corey Pronman ‏@coreypronman
Oliver Kylignton and Linden Vey (CGY) stick handled through most of the San Diego AHL team to set up a goal. Look up the highlight later.

No surprising scratches tonight for Stockton in case they tip their hand as to who might get called up for Versteeg.

Scratches: McCollum (has only dressed in 1 game as a backup IIRC), Culkin (injured), Kanzig, Devane, Smith, Carroll

Lines (starters are bold):
Shinkaruk-Jankowski-Hathaway
Maingiapane-Vey-Frattin
Klimchuk-Pribyl-Poirier
Bollig-Angelidis-Lomberg

Aulie-Morrison
Wotherspoon-Andersson
Kylington-Doetzel

Gillies
Rittich

PP units
Shinkaruk - Jankowski - Frattin
Kylington - Vey

Poirier-Pribyl-Hathaway
Mangiapane - Andersson

Jankowski pots in a Shinkaruk rebound!!!! Great rush by the Heat

2-0 6:58 left in the 1st

Kylington gets credit with the 2nd assist.

2 point night for Kylington.

High praise:

Corey Pronman @coreypronman
And a second beauty goal by Stockton. Kylington, Shinkaruk, and Frattin set up Jankowski. CGY's affiliate among most exciting in AHL.

Yeah, but if a brawl breaks out in the press box the heat guys would dominate. Three guys over 6'4.

What would be the guess for the amount of games McCollum plays over the course of his two year contract?

Jankowski's pro career so far:
15gp 5g 9a 14pts

This season:
7gp 3g 5a 8pts

Jankowski tied with Klimchuk for Stockton's point lead.

Currently 4th in AHL rookie scoring, 1 point behind the leader. 28th in AHL scoring.

Wonder if Ryan Lambert will double down on his analysis that Jankowski is nothing but a 3rd line college player whose stats are boosted by forced offensive starts and PP time.

Bollig is the worst player on an AHL team. Janko spotted him a wide open 4x6 and he misses. That after killing the play earlier in a long shift.

And of course he scores. Probably a goal Tokarski would like back but nice little secondary rush.

6-1 Stockton

Vey bangs in the puck after Tokarski lets it slip out of his glove

Blowout.

Kylington with his 3rd point of the night with the lone assist on Vey's goal

That was easily Gillies' best game of the season out of the ones I have seen. Anaheim's goalies were simply not good at the other end, score is a bit misleading in terms of quality chances which weren't too lopsided. Stockton, like Calgary, has power play issues.
